The steady, or to be more precise constant increase in the popularity of GROT products, the consistent development of the network of brand-name stores in Łódź and expansion into the Warsaw market resulted in a decision regarding the expansion of the facility with a simultaneous and comprehensive adjustment of the technical, sanitary and technological processes to the veterinary requirements of the European Union. The modernisation was completed in July 2004; as a consequence, the capacity for meat manufacturing and processing increased to 50 tonnes a day. The plant employs 228 people. The network of brand-name stores reached 28 outlets, employing 86 people.
